The Hopper at Haley Farm, Williamstown, MA. 8 x 16 inches, oil on linen panel. One can walk right into the bottom of the Hopper, the bottom of the "V" that you see here. One can take another trail and climb to Stony Ledge, the mountain on the right and then look down into the Hopper. Today I prefer to stand in the hayfield and paint it.
