Storm Approaching

Haley Farm, Williamstown, MA. 8x10 inches, oil on canvas panel.  A small, quick painting I did this summer of the barn at Haley Farm at the end of Hopper Road with a thunderstorm approaching.

The Approaching Storm

While painting the incoming storm, it intensified and started to approach faster, not passing by at a distance, as I hoped.  Packing up quickly, I reached the car as the raindrops started to fall.  The view is from Sheep Hill looking north towards the Dome in Vermont.  8x16 inches, oil on linen panel.
