The Adams in Adams

The Adams in Adams, MA. 9x12 inches, oil on canvas panel.  This painting represents an event, or the event of painting it this afternoon.  One car and a truck with a boat on top, no less, made brief appearances.  Since their owners didn't stay around for the duration of the painting, I removed them.

Visible on My Right

Melting Fast

In a Different Spot

Filled with Birches

Mount Greylock, Adams, MA. 10x8 inches, oil on canvas panel.  I painted in the field across from the Gould Trail Trailhead this afternoon.  The place is filled with birches.  The Gould Trail is a fast way up by foot.  Of course, fast means steep.

Majestical, Disorienting
