Field Farm, Williamstown, MA. 8 x 16 inches, oil on linen panel. I went to Field Farm to paint the first bright remnants of the fall season that I could find. This view looks south. All afternoon I heard the distant pounding of helicopters, putting out a fire on the mountain somewhere to my right.
