The Edge of the Fields

Late Summer Field at Field Farm, Williamstown, MA. 8x10 inches, oil on canvas panel.  I set up to paint on a path which separates the edge of the woods and the edge of the fields.  In front of me a wide view, behind me a wall of trees.
