So, I tried something different, peering from a large hayfield into another through a stand of trees separating the two fields: a
sous-bois painting, which literally means "under the trees," except I was mainly looking through the trees. Actually, I was looking for a reason to include other colors besides greens, as in tree trunks. Field Farm, Williamstown, MA. 6x8 inches, gouache on mixed media paper.
