I Heard Nothing

This may not be the most exciting painting, but the place where I painted it was cool and in deep shade, so that's why I was there. The only sounds were an occasional distant plane, and insects. I also heard wild turkeys nearby.  Most of the time I heard nothing.  North Trail at Field Farm, Williamstown, MA.  9x12 inches, oil on linen panel.
