Three 11x14 images of Brooklyn, one an oil painting, and two drawings. I find it amusing that it's hard to do anything of Brooklyn without automobiles. Just think of Impressionist paintings of Paris without carriages.
Ah, those romantic Volvos and Cadillacs. In this section of Brooklyn, the cars are often disassembled or wrecked, and being worked on. A lot of the work takes place on the sidewalk or the street.

Oh, I don't know. Carriages somehow seem a bit more prosaic than Volvos and Cadillacs. At least, Brooklyn's got you to paint its picture.
