A Street in AG

This is my first stab at using acrylic gouache.  I suddenly had an insight into the great paintings of Charles Sovek.  This painting represents a street in Gloucester, MA.  6x8 inches, acrylic gouache on mixed media paper.

A Barn Quote

This morning's painting of a nearby barn in Williamstown, MA.  It's not the whole barn, but an excerpt, a quote, to fit into a square panel.  Given the weather, I should call it a plein hot air painting.  10x10 inches, oil on linen panel.

Brooklyn in Pittsfield

My painting of "Dean Street Near Classon, Brooklyn" is included in the juried exhibition "Art of the Hills: Visual Evidence" at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, MA.  The exhibition dates are June 4 - September 11th.

Was Another Painting

Painting With Cows
