Top of Stratton Road

It's tough staying on top of things. This is an unusual composition that, again, will be even more unusual in color. It's sorta of topsy-turvy, like of some of Van Gogh's paintings. The color version is coming up next. I also did my seventh 6x8 oil, which I think came out the best so far. I will let it dry a little before shooting it.

Unusual beats ordinary any day for me, Bob. Your black and white versions really show off the design but I always look forward to what you do with colors. Your Maine Coast painting is awesome!

Donna, Thanks. I need that today.

Great composition! I root for the shady spot on the right creeping in, it seems to act as a great counterbalance to all that open space of the road.

Nika, I thought I would be the only fan of the creeping shadow.
