I can't figure out what you do to make it look like ice instead of water, but you sure do. Now it's snow snow snow. A world made for charcoal.
I always love your B&W work... and of course your color paintings. Can't wait to see what's next with your snow work.

The arrival of snow provides the opportunity to do more "graphical" kinds of things, as the above drawing. The painting shows the canal with a little ice on the edge from a few days ago.
