Flotsam

The bottom image is a pastel view up the Delaware River at the end of the street. The top view is a drawing view of the trash collected by the river under the Washington Crossing Bridge. The river has some ice in it. I hope to do a painting of the drawing's view tomorrow.

I like the flotsam drawing alot, Bob. It's got an interesting, strong composition and a nice arrangement of darks and lights. The pastel gives a really nice sense of the water's movement with the scene bathed in sunlight. Great work!

That sketch grabbed me too, Bob. Strong, bold lines that remind me of Van Gogh's drawings. You are doing such nice work and I enjoy reading all the quotes that you share. Keep listening to the trees!

Wow. Thank you all. Someone asked me when looking at the sketch, "Who would want to see a picture of a lot of junk in the river?"!! I will be scouting out more interesting river edges.
