Sloan Road towards the Hopper

This view accidentally includes the names of two American artists, John Sloan and Edward Hopper. But that's only one reason that I like this location.

Every time I see a telephone pole in a painting I think of Hopper. Very nice painting, Bob, as is your Pastel Souvenir.

Donna, Thanks. When I think of Hopper, I think of white clapboards on the sides of buildings, and vice versa.

Hi Bob! I love your paintings from your new muse-the roads.

Nika, Thank you. This place is best early in the morning. I am happy that the pastel conveys the same experience to you as it did for me.

Loriann, Roads, and canals, and rivers are all related.
