I have been reading Wordsworth lately. This could be called, "Pastel created upon the occasion of standing for two and a half hours painting in a field off of Stratton Road."
Lovely title and a strong painting! I can really feel the elevation of the land and the way trees and buildings sit on it is very convincing. I struggle with conveying that in my painting, so it's nice to see these problems resolved with such ease in yours.

You make a great case for chroma.
I agree with Nika about the way you have caught the trees sitting in the landscape. I also think the colour palette is very successful.
Nika, Sam, and Bridget, Wow. Thank you. I think trudging up this road over the last year has paid off.
