Pastel and Oil Paintings by Robert Lafond
Bob, great barns! The brilliant red that you've come up with is awesome.Gotta tell you though that I'm still partial to the black and whites. They have the feeling of an etching, just something about them that draws me in.
If there's anything racier than a red barn in a green field, it's gotta be a barber pole in the yard. Stripes keep up the pace.
Doug, The etching quality is from vine charcoal, and hard charcoal on bristol paper, and a great barn.Sam, When you drive down the road, you can't miss the barber pole. I am always drawn to it (pun intended).
Wow! I love the charcoal drawing. All the essence of color and feeling without color! Wow!
Loriann, Thank you.
