I am still on the edge of the canal, and not tempted to jump in. Maybe the top one is too abstract. Someone said, "What is it?" Sometimes, this time, it's necessary to recollect why one tries to make art. It's so easy to get distracted and lose sight of the real reason.

I had no trouble recognizing this work -- and I like it because it seems as if you've worked down to the essence of this landscape, not to be picturesque but to capture the light, the moving shadows, the "feel" of place and time and space. I hope you continue along this path!
