Hello Bob. Thanks for commenting on my brand new blog. I love the immediacy in these pastels of yours. They remind me of what drew me to pastels in college -- a showing of George Segal drawings - they blew my mind. These have a similar energy surrounding them. What a pleasure to see your work.
The weather was warmer, so I visited the site, and did a couple sketches outdoors. The above pastel is based upon the sketches.

Loriann, Thank you for your comment. It is great to be out, but it was still cold. My sketches are full of shivers. I can't wait for warmer weather.
By the way I have been looking at your web site. Your landscapes are wonderful. And I am working on that tagging stuff.
