Edge of a Cornfield, Williamstown, MA. 8x10 inches, oil on canvas panel.  Down the farmer's road, along the edge of the cornfield, you encounter goldenrod, more fields, and can see the distant mountains in Savoy.  

At The Beach

Afternoon Light

Afternoon Light at Field Farm, Williamstown, MA. 11x14 inches, oil on canvas panel.  The sunlight at this time, mid-late afternoon in mid-late August, is spectacular but it moves and fades quickly.  I tried to preserve some of it in this painting from yesterday.

Sitting On The Edge

Hay Bales, Field Farm, Williamstown, MA. 11x14 inches, oil on canvas panel.  Yesterday I found this hay bale sitting on the edge of the path and on the edge of the shadow.

On Exhibition

Patterning

A Different Approach

A Life of Their Own

The Pottery Studio Sink, Pownal, VT.  16x12 inches, oil on linen canvas.  A more studied view. I've noticed over a short time that many of the things, sponges, containers, the faucet, change location or position, as if they had a life of their own.
