Kept Changing

Old Olive Trees

Olive Trees, Nice. 8x10 inches, oil on canvas.  The Garden of the Arenas in Cimiez, a part of Nice, has many old olive trees.  I've always wanted to paint a few.  No, I am not in Nice at the moment.

Painting on Day 2

Mount Greylock from Mount Hope Farm, Williamstown, MA. 8x10 inches, oil on canvas panel.  Seldom does one get two identical nice days in a row weather wise.  When it happens and I painted on day one, I'm always tempted to go back and work some more on the painting on day 2.  

The View on the Right

Thinking Out Loud

An Old Farm Cart

Farm Cart, Williamstown, MA. 9x12 inches, oil on gesso panel.  An old cart, seemingly abandoned, filled with debris, reminds me of my humanity.  So, I cannot just walk by.  I have to paint it. It's like a still life sitting outside.
