Steep Sheep Hill View

Sheep Hill View, Williamstown, MA. 9x12 inches, oil on canvas panel.  Imagine standing at your easel with your left foot about three inches lower than your right foot.  I did a lot of compensatory walking around and uphill to look at the painting's progress and stop my feet from hurting.

Simple and Sweet

Greylock from Field Farm, Williamstown, MA. 12x12 inches, oil on linen panel.  I suppose I am attracted to Field Farm because I can see the mountain from most of its many shady spots. This afternoon's painting I tried to keep simple and sweet.

It's All Lefts

Looking at Sheep Hill, Williamstown, MA. 12x16 inches, oil on canvas panel. A plein air painting I did last week.  To orient yourself, the small parking lot at the top of Bee Hill Road is located exactly at the top left at the upper left corner of the left clearing.
