This Old Tree
This old tree has seen many people pass by where it stands in front of the barn at Haley Farm next to the path leading to multiple trailheads. It's located at the end of Hopper Road in Williamstown, MA. The weather forecast calls for days of rain, so I painted outside yesterday while I could despite the waning sun. 9x12 inches, oil on canvas panel.

Painting At The Edge
Part of the day I spent painting at the edge of Oblong Road near Sloan Road in Williamstown, MA. I want to thank the driver of the huge truck who three times passed by and slowed down each time to stop the dust cloud following his vehicle. 9x12 inches, oil on gessobord.

At the End of Hopper Road
Evey year I try to paint this truck at least once. Since the early 90's, it's been standing in a cow pasture at the end of Hopper Road in Williamstown, MA. 9x12 inches, oil on canvas panel.

Paean To Summer
The old milk shed, the hay bales, and the view across the fields to the mountains of Florida and Savoy, are just down the road from the long barn on Luce Road in Williamstown, MA. This is also another paean to the colors of summer. 16x20 inches, oil on linen panel.

The Reflected Sky
The weather was nice today so I went back to the stony beach on the Hoosic River in Williamstown, MA. The water was higher than the last time I was there, but there's still nothing yet to see on the trees and bushes. I'm attracted to the river because of the colors of the reflected sky and grassy banks. 12x12 inches, oil on linen panel.
